Losing two special people as a teenager left her lost and scraping by daily. But with the Foundation’s programmes; Kiwi Can, Stars and Project K, she found mentors who believed in her and taught her life skills, self-belief and the importance of asking for help.
Winning the Project K Excellence Award inspired her to work with the Foundation, which led to her becoming a Kiwi Can Leader. Jaleel hopes to continue working with the Foundation.

This was a fun technical removal. This tree had been growing up past the house for years... but recently had started to rub and bang against the roof causing multiple leaks and damage to the walls. All the foliage was rigged down to prevent further damage, and the wood saved, cut into rings and stacked for next years burning as the owners have a wood fire.

Approximately a year ago we tried rehoming one of our cats with my grand daughters only to have him run away. I am now in a home of my own and I can't stop thinking about him. He is / was a brown tabby, he's been desexed and was last seen wearing a red collar with bling on it as well as a bow and a name tag reading Satria. I know you're thinking there are hundreds of brown tabbies out there but Satria is cross eyed and can't hunt so instead he gathers rubbish. Please if you've seen or have any information on our unique baby please contact me on 0276371398.

This Sunday we'll be putting our clocks back for the end of daylight saving. Despite the benefits of an extra hour of sun during daylight saving, these clock changes commonly bring disruptions to our households and sleep - some feel that it should be scrapped altogether. What do you think?
