Earthquake Impacts You Can’t See
From the outside, this rental property appeared well maintained, with no visible signs of concern.
A drain camera inspection, however, identified underlying damage linked to past earthquake movement. Ageing ceramic pipes had shifted and cracked over time, creating a potential issue that had not yet surfaced.
An existing EQC (now Natural Hazards Commission) claim was still in place. We supported the owner throughout the process, gained approval, and completed the repairs without incurring additional costs.
The drainage system has now been restored and the property made secure.
Not all earthquake-related damage is immediately visible. Regular drain inspections can help identify hidden issues early.
Enviroflo provides complimentary drain checks for those seeking peace of mind.
