Concert Time with South Brighton Voices
I am pleased to let you know, that the Christmas concert by South Brighton Voices will be taking place on Sunday 27th November at St Faith's Church, corner of Shaw Avenue and Hawke Street, New Brighton, commencing at 2.00 p.m. They have some really lovely music on the program, which I think also includes "audience participation", so get your voices ready (ha! ha!). As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
