Italy in a Garden in Canterbury
We may not be able to lounge under the Tuscan sun yet but the Friends of Christchurch Symphony Orchestra are bringing Italy to Canterbury in their fundraising event Italy in a Garden 11.00am - 4.00pm next Sunday 21st November at Casa Rossa, West Melton. Conducted tour of an Italian style garden with magnificent sculptures, floral art demonstrations, music performances and a hamper raffle.

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
