Classic plane makes beautiful shavings again
Morning Neighbours,
Have a look at this wooden plane restoration.
The body was no longer flat and the blade soft an very tired before we restored it.
We built up the blade with a hard facing TIG filler rod forming a very durable tool steel cutting edge. All sides of the body were then sanded, squared up and made flat before a nice coat of oil was applied.
We love doing this kind of work and could do the same for you.
Have a great day.
Cheers
