The University of Otago Christchurch Campus are seeking individuals with metabolic syndrome to take part in a study to investigate whether supplementation with vitamin C and micronutrients results in improved metabolic health.

Participants must be:
o 18 years old and over
o Overweight (BMI over 30, or have a big tummy)

And have any of the following:
o Hyperglycemia (high blood sugar)
o Raised triglycerides (lipids/fat)
o Low HDL (‘good’ cholesterol)
o Hypertension (high blood pressure)

By joining the study you will receive:
o Free metabolic health check
o $60 MTA vouchers for 3 clinic visits
