Popular cycle race between Christchurch and Akaroa cancelled
Christchurch’s popular Le Race event has been cancelled this year due to ongoing Covid-19 restrictions.
In a statement issued on Monday, organisers said the 2020 Miles Continental Le Race would not be held this year because New Zealand was still under level 2 restrictions and there was no “clear indication” of when that might change.
