Projector TV
Do you have a projector TV screen that you want to get rid of? If so, I would like to take it away for free. I want to put it to pieces and take the Fresnel lens out of it. Happy to pickup anywhere in Christchurch. "Projector "TVs are how they made big screens before LCD screens were common. I have posted this message in August 2021. I will keep re-posting for up to a year or so because I suspect they are not very common these days. If you are interested please contact me on my mobile and tell me the model of TV you have. Scam Alert: Bank cold calls
ASB is warning customers about reports of cold calls from scammers claiming to be from ASB. These scammers are trying to obtain personal information, including usernames, dates of birth, and verification codes sent to your mobile phone.
๐ก๏ธ The "Caller Check" Test
If you get a call from someone claiming to be from ASB and youโre unsure, just ask them for a Caller Check. You will then be able to verify the call through the app.
Remember, banks will:โโ
โ Never ask for your banking passwords, PINs, or verification codesโโ
โ Never need to know your full credit card number โ especially the CVC
โ Never ask you to download software or remotely access your deviceโโ
โ Never ask you to purchase gift cards or transfer funds.
If you have received a phone call and think your account has been compromised, call ASB on 0800 ASB FRAUD (0800 272 372), or visit your local branch.
