Grass Berms & Parking . . .

I have always regarded the stretch of grass in front of my property as a privilege. Helping to beautify our neighbourhood and as a deterrent to speedsters (aiding as it does to narrow down the streets). I have always dutifully mown it and cared for it as a part of my property. Now I find my driveway aids parkers who not only leave tyre tracks on my nicely mown grass but chew up the grass/dirt and regard it as 'a right' of residents to park on. The CCC aren't interested in policing it - nor the traffic department - so who is? Methinks its time we all left them unmown for the CCC 'workers' to cut on their way to mowing the various parks around the city. Grumph over!

So far he's cost us over $800 in vet bills, and a cat box when he smashed his way out after I managed to trap him! He's a huge tabby, quite hansom but far too aggressive. Does anyone know who he might belong too? Next time I trap him him he'll be going straight to SPCA or somewhere else. If you him, please remind the owners to have him fixed.

Cheers

As when walking closeby I was surprised to see all the interior lights suddenly turned on (the second floor) and then a dry powder fire extinguisher being blasted out of an opened window. This gave a clear indication in certain forms of ongoing and distinctly unusual activity. However I then noted the security fence surrounding the new complex currently being built had been forced wide open. When I realised this allowed free access to the rear of this building (which was not even padlocked) I felt quite sure this required immediate and further investigation. The police response was absolutely amazing (very quick) and it appears the offenders (believe two local kids) left in quite a hurry (on a bike and a small kids scooter) and escaped being caught. The police noted the entire upstairs of this building is now completely trashed. A grave concern is the total failure of ensuring the security of this dangerous building for serious safety reasons.
