Business writer Rod Oram, in Tamahere, Sunday, September 10, 2-4pm, at St Stephen’s Tamahere, cnr Airport Rd and Tamahere Dr. In discussion with the Green Party's Philippa Stevenson on a Waikato future that is sustainable, innovative and entrepreneurial. Rod says: "We need different ways to achieve deep ecological, social, economic and cultural sustainability. If we transform our technologies so they work with the ecosystem and not against it, we will be able to provide abundantly for people." Followed by light afternoon tea. $5 admission to cover costs.
