Half a century of service earns Franklin 'hero' Lifetime Achievement Award
RSA Franklin may not have been in Pukekohe for a lifetime, but the man who started it all has spent most of his life to serving the welfare of all veterans and their families.
Garry Cousins' desire to help others gained him the Franklin Local Board Lifetime Achievement Award at the Franklin County News Franklin's Finest Awards on Thursday.
