Ardmore School Bus Service Discontinued
Good evening neighbours
We have recently been informed that the school bus service for Ardmore Primary will be discontinued from the next term due to rising costs, which the school is unfortunately no longer able to subsidize. As a result, families are now being asked to make alternative arrangements for getting their children to and from school.
Understandably, this presents a significant challenge, especially as many of our children are well settled at Ardmore and we wish for them to continue their education there without disruption.
I’m reaching out to connect with other parents who may also be affected by this change. I’m particularly interested in hearing from families who already drop off and collect their children daily, as I am open to contributing towards a shared arrangement such as a carpool and am happy to pay a monthly fee or any to help cover costs.
I’m also happy to hear about any other alternative arrangements parents may be considering or have already put in place.
Your input and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards
Sultan

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝
In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”
We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
