Can you speak te reo Māori?

Brittany Keogh Reporter from Manukau Courier

Hi neighbours, Rangatahi (young people) from around the country gathered at the Vodafone Events Centre in Manukau yesterday to share their thoughts on how to get more New Zealanders speaking te reo Māori. Nine of their projects will each get up to $10,000 from Crown entity Te Māngai Paho. Read the story or watch the video below to find out what they had to say. Can you speak te reo Māori? Share your story of learning the language in the comments section.
