Headbutting and throat grabbing during weekend football match
Hi neighbours. Five players from Manukau United and three from North Shore United were given red cards for violent conduct during their Northern Regional Football League match on Saturday. A match report stated the violent conduct included headbutting, throat grabbing, striking with excessive force and referred to the incident as "an all in brawl". The match was abandoned and a referee report is pending.
