In neighbourhoods across New Zealand, kids like Aiden are waiting for help.

That’s not fair, when a child’s dreams can be so simple. Aiden just dreams of joining the big kids at school, with the proper uniform.

With living costs skyrocketing, hardworking parents are finding it more difficult to provide their children with essentials like bedding, school uniforms or shoes. These children are also likely to miss out on important opportunities such as camp or swimming lessons.

You can change one young life today. Visit https://www.variety.org.nz/donate/sponsor-a-child/ to sponsor a Kiwi kid.

Give a little to help us help migrants and former refugees be road-ready and job-ready. Click here to DONATE givealittle.co.nz......

Migrant Action Trust (MAT) helps migrants and former refugees from arrival to employment and integration in New Zealand. We help Aotearoa’s newest residents to secure meaningful employment and overcome the barriers to getting a driver licence.
An NZ drivers licence opens up job opportunities for them and gives a sense of belonging, while building their independence and improving well-being for the whole whānau.
The NZTA recommends 120 hours of driving for learners to be test-ready. But this is a huge challenge for former refugees who have no access to a practice car, no driving coach/supervisor and no funds to pay for lessons with a qualified driving instructor. All on top of language and literacy barriers!
We need funds to put towards the cost of driving lessons and practical driving tests for new settlers especially refugees from Afghanistan, single mothers applying for jobs and mothers with special needs children.
Each month we aim to help 10 new settlers to pass their driving tests - that's 10 families each month gaining independence, job opportunities and improving their well-being in Aotearoa.

However, did you know that its numerous advantages also include a good night's sleep? The necessity of a decent breakfast in the book 'Tired but Wired,' mentions the need of vital nutrients and, most significantly, a sense of well-being. For a good night's sleep, the book recommends eating eight almonds and two dates within 30 minutes of waking up.

These power packed foods are supposed to help produce the important hormone melatonin that helps you sleep better at night. A handful of nuts, followed by fruits, aids in metabolism and blood sugar stabilisation. Of course, the key to getting the best outcomes is to keep to a schedule and a routine as much as possible.

However, if you're having trouble getting a good night's sleep, our blog is highly recommended, since it contains some useful advice on how to sleep without feeling restless or worried.

There maybe a web site were it tells me exactly what Mr Brown is going to do. Yes I have reached the age were I can thank Winston Peters each time I travel(free), I would just like to make the comment that open comments to gain votes are not good. We already have a Govt the has done this and fallen flat(West coast mine, light rail to Auckland Airport) I am not against Mr Brown, he may have some good ideas, just would like to point out, Auckland public Transport does work if you do your home work.
