ANZ bank closures
Once again our friendly customer & community focussed bank the ANZ is helping there many customers by closing I think 10 smaller branches across the Auckland region my local is gleneden & it's going early April , I was in there yesterday & overheard staff who all seemed upset about it talking it over .What I find particularly upsetting is the fact that all staff have been instructed not to let the banks customers know go figure that one . When my branch closes I'm gone if they want us all to bank online I'll be doing it with a new Zealand cheers all mike

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
