WEST Dressed Pre-Loved Plus Size Clothing Op Shop in Henderson
Hi everyone. We are a not for profit pre-loved, plus size clothing (sizes 16 - 32) op shop located at 9 Henderson Valley Rd called WEST Dressed. If you have any plus size clothing you no longer need please consider us when you are looking for a clothing bin or to donate it to charity. 100% of proceeds from the WEST Dressed op shop fund our Becoming Financially Fit (BFF) courses which include free sewing for beginners, slow cooking on a budget, employment support programme, beeswax wrap making, budgeting, plus size clothing swap, starting a small home based business, cheese making, and so much more. As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
