We are extremely disappointed to find that after serving our community for four months, that on our last day as a COVID-19 testing centre someone decided to help themselves to the metal poles of our shelter.

These shelters have given our hardworking staff and our patients protection from the elements and were to be repurposed as part of our screening process when we open for urgent care matters on Monday.

We do thank all of the community for their support while we've operated over the last four months however if you have any information or saw anything please email us at admin@shorecare.co.nz .

All it takes is a kind gesture to change someone’s day. From paying it forward in line at a cafe to giving flowers to a neighbour ‘just because’ - this month we’re encouraging our members and supporters to make New Zealand a better place one random act of kindness at a time.

The options for doing so are endless! Being kind doesn’t have to cost a thing, after all a smile is free. For those who want to go the extra mile, here’s some other ideas: Buy extra kai at the grocery store to donate to a food bank, build a free community library for your street, bring treats into work for colleagues, send an encouraging text to someone who needs it, let a car into the traffic ahead of you, take a gift over to new neighbours and introduce yourself, write positive messages in chalk on sidewalks around your neighbourhood, or surprise loved ones with a visit.

This month’s theme also coincides with Random Acts of Kindness Day (New Zealand) which is coming up on September 1st.

Let us know how you’re spreading kindness in your community by tagging us in your posts + using the following hashtag so we can see what you get up to:

“I am 83 living alone. My neighbours Grant and Annette Phillips were wonderful during the lockdown, getting my shopping and taking me to the dentist when I broke my dentures and had no way of getting them mended. When I needed help in an emergency they were there for me reattaching the connections under my bed which I could not get to.They have taken me to doctors appointments and helped when I needed help in the house after a fall and when my Medic Alarm has been activated.”

As we head into our final days as a CBAC we want to say a huge thank you to our locals who have supported us throughout these uncertain times.
We have really appreciated everyone's patience and kind words.
We finish our time as a CBAC on the 31st of July with operation Northcross comeback beginning in the early hours of the 1st of August.

Our process of having booked appointments and swabbing in car means that we haven't actually had anyone with COVID-19 inside our clinic but for peace of mind we thought a deep clean was in order.

At 8am on Monday the 3rd of August we open our doors once again for all urgent care matters to the public.

This is where we really need your support!

After just over four months of being closed we need to get the word out that we are back in action, ready to care for you and your family.

So make sure to share this news with your friends and family and let's get Northcross up and running again!

We are a small Scandinavian Cleaning Company, who specialize in one-off cleaning jobs. We are looking for individuals/pairs/couples to join our
team.

We do one-off cleans, spring cleaning, end of tenancy cleaning and cleaning for people who are either moving in or out of homes, newly built homes and renovations.
We also do Home Staging, helping with moving furniture and setting up Stagings. Lots of variety - so the days are never the same.

Most jobs will be on North Shore, but we also travel further down Auckland, west and North. Most likely we travel in my car, but you will sometime need to take your own car/transport.

Sometimes it can be quiet and other times we can be very busy, working mostly between 3 to 7 hours on the day in normal hours from 9am to 5pm during the week. Sometimes we work on weekends and you will be paid extra. Other times there will be no work at all.

We work in teams for most jobs, depending on the size of the
job. Usually there will be 2-5 people on each job.

The cleaning skills include (but you don't need them all as you can be trained up):

Normal house cleaning (including kitchen and bathrooms);
 Oven Cleaning;
 Walls
 Ceilings;
 Blinds;
 Carpet cleaning
 Windows;
 Water blasting / House wash;
 Lifting skills for lighter furniture (for the Home Staging part of my
business).

Ideal candidate:
 English speaking;
 Good communication skills;
 Positive outlook;
 Clean and well presented;
 Physically strong and fit;
 Some cleaning skills/flair needed
 Reliable, diligent and flexible;
 Own car (often if jobs further away, we go in my car)
or need to take public transport to jobs or pick up places
 Good with your phone (so I can get a prompt answer)

Work Visa a must and no cash jobs.

Please call/text me direct on 0212362284 or email me Susanne@littlemermaid.co.nz

Looking forward to hearing from you

Susanne
