Sudden death in Takanini
Police are in attendance at a sudden death on railway tracks in Takanini.
This incident has occurred near the level crossing on Walters Road.
Police were notified at about 7.34am, and sadly we can advise the person died at the scene.
Police remain in attendance and train services in the area are expected to be impacted this morning.
Cordons are currently in place on Walters Road at the intersections with Arion and Great South Roads.
