PHONE CALL

Marama from Manukau - Wiri

There is a certain phone call you will get eventually get. My advice is, listen to what they ask and what they have to say. You will look back one day and realise that what they were telling you, is actually fact & provides the kind of hope and future we all need.

It's just that many of us don't realise it, & think it's a whole lot of rubbish, but in fact, it will be the best thing you can do for yourself and your family. You just don't realise it yet. Give it time.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
