In the Post's article on speeding penalties, the question is asked whether speeding fines are truly about road safety, or are they just a way to boost revenue for the Crown?
What do you think? Should speeding motorists receive speeding fines or demerit points?

Why does this matter? As Nikki Macdonald from The Post points out, we’re a country with around 4,400 threatened species. With limited time and funding, conservation has always meant making tough calls about what gets attention first.
For the first time, DOC has put real numbers around what it would take to do everything needed to properly safeguard our unique natural environment. The new BioInvest tool shows the scale of the challenge: 310,177 actions across 28,007 sites.
Now that we can see the full picture, it brings the big question into focus: how much do we, as Kiwis, truly value protecting nature — and what are we prepared to invest to make it happen?
We hope this brings a smile!

Is your computer becoming painfully slow or taking forever to start?
Often the best solution is a **clean Windows installation that removes old clutter and restores performance**, helping the computer run smoothly again.
I’m based in Auckland and provide a **local mobile service** focused on clean Windows 11 installation and careful system setup. I follow a structured process so the system is **clean, stable, and ready to use when I leave.**
What I typically help with:
• Clean Windows 11 installation
• Removing unnecessary pre-installed software
• Installing updates and essential drivers
• Setting up the system so the computer runs smoothly again
This can be especially helpful if:
• your PC has gradually become very slow
• Windows errors or updates caused problems
• you bought a new computer and want a clean setup
• the computer hasn’t been used for a long time
The result is a **clean, stable system that often feels like a new computer again.**
I provide **in-home service across Auckland.**
**Typical on-site clean installation: $100 total**
*(including travel and setup)*
Even if you’re not sure what the problem is, feel free to message and describe what’s happening. I’m always happy to help neighbours figure out what might be going on and get their computers running smoothly again.

He is around 2 years old, has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, plus treated for fleas and worms, and will come with his vet record book. He's also cat litter trained. An ideal home for him would be on a quiet street, have a garden for him to hang out in so he can be an inside/outside cat, and have no dogs. Please phone 0210428692 if interested.
