Hi Neighbours!
It's time to get ready for summer, and Weymouth Cricket Club is gearing up for an exciting 2025/2026 season. Whether you're a seasoned player or looking to try a new sport, we'd love for you to join our club.
Registrations are officially OPEN for seniors and all juniors (NZ School Years 3-11). We welcome all abilities, and most equipment is provided, so you just need to bring a positive attitude!
For the Kids: Free Fun & Training!
We have two great opportunities for our junior players to get a feel for the club.
Junior Muster Day:
Come down for a day of fun, games, and a free BBQ! It's a great chance to meet the coaches and get to know the club in a relaxed environment.
When: Sunday, October 4, 2025, from 1:00 PM
Where: Mountfort Park A6
Junior Training Program:
Our pre-season training program is completely FREE and the perfect way to learn some new skills before the season kicks off.
When: Starting September 8, 2025 (8 weeks)
Where: War Memorial Park (Indoor Nets)
We are also excited about the chance to form some new girls' teams, so please encourage your daughters, nieces, and friends to come along!
For the Adults: Social & Senior Cricket
Want to get back into the game or just play for fun? Join our casual pre-season net sessions every Friday from 6-8 PM. It’s a great way to hit a few balls, have a laugh, and get ready for the season with no pressure.

Roadworks on SH1 Redoubt Road overbridge 5 words
From 22 to 26 February, we will be replacing a bridge joint on SH1 Redoubt Road overbridge. Work will take place at night time (9pm to 5am) and there will be a full one- way closure with lane restrictions on the other side.
Please expect delays when travelling through the area.
