Te Atatu Food Truck Friday - Season opening October 4th

Te Atatu Food Truck Fridays are back THIS Friday (October 4th) kicking off their7th season. There will be a selection of Auckland’s finest street food along, a live performance from Mariachi NZ band and the regular repair café.

October 4th - 4:30pm to 8:30pm – Te Atatu South Community Centre.

The food trucks joining us on the night will be:

- Hapunan - Full of flavour modern take on classic Filipino dishes
- Local Legend Eats – Delectable burgers and fries
- Baja Taco’s (the rebranded Mama Yoya’s) – Authentic Mexican tacos, ceviche, nachos
- Smashed potatoes - baked potatoes oozing with tasty toppings and cheese.
- Natalia’s food journey - Serving up fried chicken, pulled pork sliders and other tantalising treats.
- Kookie Haus/ Doughnut Haus - Next level cookies and doughnuts
- Victor and Vern - Serving your coffee, iced/ hot chocolate fix.

The entertainment menu will feature a pulsating live performance from Mariachi NZ band, FREE ReCreators craft workshop, FREE facepainting plus our regular feel-good tunes.

Come grab some tasty food and soak up the community vibes. Plenty of seating available outside, inside or picnic in the park. Parking available on site. Walking or cycling up makes it even easier.

A great way to spend a Friday night.

Night-time chipsealing works on SH2

NZ Transport Agency (NZTA)

From 9 to 17 February, stop/go traffic management will be in place on SH2 between McPherson Road and Dimmock Road on multiple nights between 9pm and 5am (Sundays to Thursdays).

During the day, all lanes will be open, but speed restrictions will apply to allow the chipseal to set and to protect vehicles travelling over the newly laid surface.

There may be delays to your journey when travelling through the area. This is weather dependent so check NZTA Journey Planner before you travel.
