Heartbeats heart event survivors support group next meeting is TUESDAY 6th June at 1pm at the SturgesWest Community Centre, 58 Summerland Drive, Henderson (next door to the SturgesWest primary school).
Come along and meet a friendly and diverse group of people with all sorts of heart conditions. You are not alone - find support, understanding and a community of people who have gone through the same life-changing episode and are learning from others. It's free and everyone is welcome. Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
