Gain control of your finances in 2021 😸

Cat Finai from Citizens Advice Bureau Pakuranga/Eastern Manukau

Accommodation, utilities, entertainment, personal expenses, groceries, the list goes on and on. Adulting generally means bills, expenses, responsibilities and financial commitments but it doesn't have to be complicated or stressful to create and implement a budget.
A budget is just a basic plan showing you what your income is and how you will use that income to pay for your expenses. It's a way of being in control of your finances so you can achieve your financial goals, big or small.

There are many online resources to help you fine-tune your budget like sorted.org.nz... or www.moneyhub.co.nz...

You can also get help from your local budgeting services.
In East Auckland and surrounding areas, free budgeting services like Pakuranga and Howick Budgeting Service Inc and Tamaki Budgeting have trained budgeters that along with financial planning, education, support for families, can help you create a budget plan that works for you.
