Proudly a part of Auckland’s Matariki Festival, The New Zealand Dance Company presents its premiere season of Matariki for Tamariki by Sean MacDonald at the Bruce Mason Centre 12-13 July & Māngere Arts Centre from 19-20 July.
Journeying through the story of the nine whetū (stars) of the Matariki cluster, Matariki for Tamariki is a celestial celebration for the whole whānau. Through majestic choreography, spectacular music, and evocative design, the curious adventurers onstage plant the seeds of new beginnings for hope of the future ahead.
Join the Company for a magical performance that will leave kids & “kidaults” alike filled with joy & gratitude for the whenua (land) we call home.
Learn what to do when recycling broken glass. Large chunks are ok, as long as they are from grocery packaging. Always remember when recycling if in doubt, leave it out.
I'm currently working with a group called Resource Rescue. We get items that come in from the inorganics and try to restore them to working condition. We are in need of an Electrician that can spend a bit of time verifying the safety of items, or even doing rewiring (sometimes there are cut power cables). This would be like work done for op shops etc (pay a fee per item) as we are a community based group.
If you could help, or know someone that could, please get in touch.
Helping a friend who requires a clean flat or apartment close to Remuera area for a three month period to care for her ill father. Please message me with any details and I’ll come back to you ASAP. Thank you!
