Free Vocal Scholarships
8 Vocal Scholarships are on offer from the Pitt St Methodist Church in Central Auckland for successful applicants. You must join the choir to receive a scholarship. Rehearsals are Tues evenings 6.15-8pm and services are Sunday mornings 10.30-11.30am with a warm-up from 9.45am. Applicants are required to audition but it's informal and nothing to worry about. Successful applicants will receive a 30min vocal lesson each week. Open to all ages 6+. Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
