SENIOR CITIZEN ACTIVITIES

Hi Neighbours,
Hoping you can perhaps recommend services for Senior Citizens in East Auckland, my dear friend has an elderly mother (80's) who is finding herself extremely bored everyday, am wondering if there are any local community groups that offer activities for seniors that we may be able to get her involved in. She's a keen gardener, knitter and is still fit & mobile, we just need to fill in some mornings with activities to keep her mind active and save her boredom. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanking you

Auckland Harbour Bridge summer works

NZ Transport Agency (NZTA)

NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi is carrying out essential maintenance on the Auckland Harbour Bridge this December and January. The southbound clip-on lanes will be closed (24/7) from 26 December to 5 January for road resurfacing. Night-time lane restrictions will be in place throughout the summer for recoating work on the bridge. Traffic will still be able to travel in both directions at all times. Find out more
