Māui’s Fishing Expedition
Māui showed rangatiratanga by leading his brothers to fish up the North Island (Te Ika-a-Māui) despite their doubts. Through his courage, skill, and determination, he taught them the value of perseverance and collective effort. Māui’s leadership transformed the lives of his people, providing them with new land to thrive on.
Moral: True leaders inspire others through wisdom, courage, and self-determination, creating opportunities for growth.
