Volunteers needed
We are urgently looking for volunteers to come and lend a hand next weekend, Sat 9th and Sun 10th November. We need help running the sausage sizzle and selling raffle tickets to raise funds for Dementia Auckland. This will be held at five Noel Leeming stores throughout Auckland (Botany, Henderson, New Lynn, St Lukes Mega, Sylvia Park).
Date: Sat 9th and Sun 10th November
Time: Morning: 10am - 1pm, Afternoon: 1pm - 4pm
Shifts: 3 hours
A diagnosis of dementia is not just a diagnosis of an individual it’s of an entire family. Dementia Auckland provides FREE services supporting the community and those who are in a support role caring for someone with dementia. A carer is the hero that bravely walks beside someone with dementia, these funds support those taking care of others.
