Want to support a couple of students?

Eric from

Kia Ora neighbours! My name is Eric (19, left). Together with my mate Louis (18, right), we have decided to start our summer side business to help us get ahead before we start our business studies at Auckland University next year.

We offer window and gutter cleaning services at very affordable rates.

Although we are young we already have loads of very happy customers with many great reviews ( please head to our instagram @squeakycleanwithEL)

We are currently trying to build our brand therefore, for a short period of time, we are offering all of our services at ONLY 60% of the usual price.

We’re hoping the experience of running our own small business will complement our business studies - but we’re also hoping for a little extra revenue (I’m currently saving for my American college experience where I will be pursuing my studies as well as embracing my passion for football).

If you’d like a quote on our window or gutter cleaning services, send us a message here on Neighbourly or give us a call on PHONE - we’d love to hear from you!

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

DOC is rolling out a new tool to help figure out what to tackle first when it comes to protecting our threatened species and the things putting them at risk.

Why does this matter? As Nikki Macdonald from The Post points out, we’re a country with around 4,400 threatened species. With limited time and funding, conservation has always meant making tough calls about what gets attention first.

For the first time, DOC has put real numbers around what it would take to do everything needed to properly safeguard our unique natural environment. The new BioInvest tool shows the scale of the challenge: 310,177 actions across 28,007 sites.

Now that we can see the full picture, it brings the big question into focus: how much do we, as Kiwis, truly value protecting nature — and what are we prepared to invest to make it happen?

We hope this brings a smile!
