Meadowbank Toastmasters - Tuesday, September 7th (Tonight!) - Welcome, Visitor! See what Toastmasters looks like and what belonging to a club can do for you!

Barry Shaw from Meadowbank Toastmasters

Most people visiting a Toastmasters club for the first time and being asked why they considered coming to the club usually describe themselves as "shy", "unable to talk in front of a lot of people" and "not skilled in speaking".
(Doing this actually starts the change process!) (That's why we ask!)

A few weeks later, they look back at how they began and report their transformation: "I talk to the boss now", "I don't quail at the offer to lead the office meeting" and "I have learned that I can learn"!

These are the success stories I love to hear.

What about you?
Ready to learn and grow?
And succeed?

See you tonight ONLINE on ZOOM.

Time to Tickle Your Thinker 🧠

The Riddler from The Neighbourly Riddler

If a zookeeper had 100 pairs of animals in her zoo, and two pairs of babies are born for each one of the original animals, then (sadly) 23 animals don’t survive, how many animals do you have left in total?

Do you think you know the answer? Simply 'Like' this post and we'll post the answer in the comments below at 2pm on the day!

Poll: As a customer, what do you think about automation?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Press investigates the growing reliance on your unpaid labour.

Automation (or the “unpaid shift”) is often described as efficient ... but it tends to benefit employers more than consumers.

We want to know: What do you think about automation?
Are you for, or against?

Hair products at great prices

Nichole from Mission Bay

I buy my hair products from Hairstuff located in St Johns, since the shampoo shop on Lunn Ave closed down. Best stuff at the best prices, far cheaper than the hair dressers and Shampoo and things etc... u can order online or go and see him, just Google the name Hairstuff and u will find him, owners name it's Gavin. I use echosline and Karseell is amazing stuff. Let me know what u think if u do buy off him thanks 😊
