Kid Country St Johns is a brand new purpose built centre on Morrin Road that will cater to 100 children. We are a privately owned and we are seeking Qualified ECE Head Teachers, Teachers, Unqualified staff who are passionate about guiding our next generation of children. We are also seeking a centre cook and an administrator.
You will be a reflective teacher and passionate about continual learning and growth. You will be enthusiastic, positive and organised. You will work well in a team environment and show great initiative.
We offer strong management support, professional development courses, mentoring for teacher registration, and competitive wages.

The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if it’s approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.

Ōrākei School annual Cheekee Hero Day
Ōrākei School is hosting its annual Cheekee Hero Day, turning a day of fun into a powerful community fundraiser.
This year, the event aims to raise funds to create Cheekee Hero Goodee Bags for tamariki (children) receiving treatment at Starship Children’s Hospital.
