We are very excited to announce a new initiative to bring the old asylum (Carrington Hospital) back to life. Our Trust is completing a Feasibility Study to determine the viability of turning 'Building One' in to an Arts and Wellness Precinct. There is a short answer survey link on the Press Release attached, and we would love for you to complete it if you have an interest in the Arts and Wellness sectors. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
