There's some good news about property crime in Onehunga, Epsom and Penrose last month, there was a reduction.
Most burglaries happen between 10am – 3pm, when people tend to be out. There are three important things that you can focus on to protect your home and property:
• LOCKS
• LIGHTS
• LINES OF SIGHT

Vehicles are 86% more likely to be broken into or stolen during the afternoon.

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

Cycad needs new Home!
We are about to get the outside of our house painted - and have decided this Cycad needs to go. I've started the recommended process for transplanting - trimming a portion of the fronds - but note that the best results require the move to new location to be as fast as possible. Before I start the root bulb work, is anyone local interested? I see they are listed at hundreds of $$ - but happy to discuss. It needs to go.
