Teaching our kids to swim is one of the most important things we can do and finding a good centre to do so is critical. Hilton Brown in Penrose has superb staff but unfortunately their head office business ethics are highly lacking. Late last year an increase of $0.25 per lesson was advertised but this was false and misleading. For February alone, my increase was $61.88 which worked out to $4.12 per lesson per child. February is now almost $300 to teach my kids to swim!. If you have kids there - please look into your bills as what they initially advised was misleading. The Commerce Commission are now reviewing this and I ask all other parents to pick this up directly with Andrew Brown info@hiltonbrownswimming.co.nz.
