Following the announcement on Tuesday night, the Northern Regional Health Co-ordination Centre recorded over 7800 Covid-19 tests on Wednesday, beating the previous record of 6407 tests on June 23.
Anyone experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms should seek to get a free Covid-19 test at their local general practice, urgent care clinic or one of Auckland's 15 community testing centres.

Hi neighbours. Auckland Mayor Phil Goff says we will beat coronavirus again, after the prime minister confirmed the city will remain in alert level 3 lockdown for another 12 days following more community spread. Do you share his confidence?
