I have just encountered two. One seemed an older (type unknown) with a lot of brown fur, collar and registered. He had a friendly encounter with my dog then crossed the road to the side of the shops. The next dog was a bit further up and had been into a rubbish bag sitting on the kerbside. He was black with a bit of white and I think a bit of brown. He also crossed the road to play with my dog. At this time a car coming down Barrack Road stopped suddenly in the middle of the road and enticed that dog into his car, reg no YJ9945. I don't think this dog had a collar on and he got willingly into the car. Just putting it out there so if anyone has a beloved pet missing they have a starting point. Unfortunately I can't tell you what the breeds of these dogs were, but the second one was short haired and the first one long haired. I hope this helps someone.,

To celebrate our very own rangers, we ran a Q&A on Instagram and Facebook stories to give you an opportunity to find out more about their important work.

In case you missed it, here are some of the interesting questions you asked them and our rangers' answers, hopefully giving you more insights into their universe.
