As students adjusted to the shift in their educational environment, many schools were ill-prepared to move to quickly to online learning. Schools such as St Peter’s in Cambridge were readily prepared for a seamless transfer between classroom and digital learning.
With each student ready to use online platforms such as Google Classroom and Hangouts, a streamlined shift was enabled as soon as the lockdown occurred.
Find out why more families are choosing St Peter’s at our Open Day on 12 March.

This cat has been visiting my house (Abbotts way) for the last week during nighttime, he eats our cat’s food and sleeps inside. He is very friendly to people which makes me think he has a home but he’s lost.
We took him to the vet but he hasn’t a microchip. If you know this cat please let me know x thanks 🙏🙏

The actual date of Matariki will move but is expected to always fall on a Friday or Monday.
The first day off will be Friday June 24 in 2022.
Government advice suggests the new Matariki public holiday will cost businesses between $377 - $448 million.
But that advice does not include any potential economic benefits from the new public holiday, set to be introduced from next year.
The estimated cost has come under fire from ACT leader David Seymour who said the public holiday amounted to a tax on business.
Seymour suggested that the Government get rid of another public holiday to make way for Matariki.

But research has shown that stress not only causes people to eat unhealthily but also can cancel out the benefits of eating a healthier diet because of changes to metabolism.
So stress really matters, says Jan Kiecolt-Glaser, lead study author (pictured). Clinical trials showed that stress affects our biological response to a meal containing healthy fats, with an increased inflammatory response in a stressed state, according to her research from the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction is proven to lower stress levels. Have a look at my website below to find out about the courses I teach
