Panmure school in lockdown

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

A primary school in East Auckland went into lockdown on Wednesday morning due to a reported shooting nearby.

A police spokesperson said they received a report of a house being shot at on Coates Crescent, Panmure.

No injures have been reported, and police are currently speaking to those involved.

A notice on the Tāmaki Primary School wesbite said: “Tāmaki Primary School has gone into a legitimate lockdown because of an incident nearby our school. We will continue to provide updates on our website as often as possible.

“Please do not come to or phone the school as you will not be attended to and this may cause disruption to the management of this incident and could potentially place yourself, staff and students’ safety at risk.”

*UPDATE - Lockdown is now lifted by Police.*

Got more greens than you know what to do with? 🥦🌱🥕

Whether it’s a courgette takeover or a feijoa frenzy, don’t let those garden gems go to waste!

Our suggestion to you: Did you know you can grate and freeze excess courgettes to use in chocolate cake later? It sounds a bit dodgy, but it makes the cake incredibly moist ... and hey, it counts as a serving of veg, right? 🍫
