BUYING PET FOOD
I was going down to Animates in person today to get pet food, but I received an email saying all Animates purchases must now be ordered online which is understandable with the Covid regulations. Before the lockdown, Animates offered an ongoing promotion of 15% off your next purchase, but now that is not offered with online ordering unless you click "repeat delivery" of so many weeks and you only get free shipping to your home if you buy $79 or more. I also can't buy my regular 12 for $24 cat sachets that has been available in-store for some time. There are no discounts that I usually see in-store for what I purchase. I requested Click and Collect which was specified as an option from certain stores, but it is automatically shipping to me with no explanation. I need the food now and they say they will honour click and collect if your order is urgent for your pet's well being. I now maybe waiting a couple of weeks. I am not going to pay a Shipping Fee on say a couple of sachets when I can save that by picking up in person. I have written to Animates with these concerns, but just letting fellow pet owners know what I have discovered. So shop carefully online with anything folks. You maybe charged more as we have seen in the media with supermarkets or the regular specials may not be available.
Don't overthink this riddle...
I have a silver sole
but no feet,
I make my living by bringing the heat.
What am I?

Poll: Should we ditch daylight saving? 🕰️
First introduced in New Zealand in 1927 with the passing of the Summer Time Act, it's what we know as 'Daylight Saving' and this year it ends on the first Sunday in April.
While we do get to sleep in this time around, some people would like to scrap the clock tinkering for good.
And why? Some evidence suggests the time changes are bad for our health as they mess with sleep patterns leading to short-term fatigue and affecting mood. Meanwhile the hour change is frustrating for farmers and a nightmare for getting the littlies to sleep. But what's your take?
-
40.6% Yes - get rid of the clock changes
-
57.5% No, I enjoy it
-
1.8% Other - I'll share below
Urgent room required
Hi everyone, I’m wondering if anyone can help me please. One of my lovely friends has been given 4 weeks notice to move out of her place as the landlords parents are coming from overseas. My friend is 23 and works full time in a child care centre. She is extremely reliable, pays rent on time and loves animals and would only need a 1 bedroom place or granny flat. She would be grateful for anything. If you have anything available that would great. Thank you so much😊
