RE: Auckland Council Food Scrap bin
Hi,
I am not sure how many of you knew about the council has been charging us $70.77 pa for the little food scraps service. We have a compost bin in our garden, we do not use the council supplied bin at all. I asked if they can be returned and they said Yes but they will not refund the $70.77 fee. I don't think it is very fair. It is a hard time to pay for the ever increased City council rate bill , but now we have to pay for an extra service that we don't even use.
