Bakelite Brothers are back at the Manukau Cruising Club in Onehunga this Sunday the 17th of July. We will be playing our mix of popular songs from 2pm - 5pm.

We have special guests "Stillrace" performing a spotlight set of their original music. Chris and Megan are from Melbourne and have been playing at local music venues and festivals.

The bar is open and no cover charge. Come on down, we'd love to see you. Support Local Live Music.

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Do you think this ban is reasonable?

Does anybody know a place in Auckland which takes possum fur?

Betty from Mount Wellington

Hi, my neighbours
One of my friends just caught a big possum from his garden.
He wants to ask if anybody knows a place to collect possums.
Or what he should do with it.
Kind regards
Betty
