First Auction for 2022 Sold in 7 days!

Michael Ellse from Team Michael Ellse - Ray White

Our Team had its first Auction for 2022 yesterday, this property was only introduced to the market 7 days ago and marketing attracted over 30 buyer inspections with multiple buyer revisits, building reports were conducted and Pre Auction offers were made and accepted.

The auction was brought forward from its original date of 2nd February. We had 3 registered bidders and the property was sold to the Pre Auction offer bidders for $1,850,000💥💯💛

Our vendors are so thrilled with the result that will enable them downsize and make life a lot easier for them.

Our Purchaser's are equally as thrilled as they are up-sizing as they need more room for their 👪.

You can check out what was sold by clicking the link below.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?

Poll: Should complete designs be shared with the public, or should the community help shape the designs from the start?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Post recently shared an opinion piece on the Harbour Crossing and why a more democratic approach might be needed 🚗🚲👟

While most decisions sit within the political arena, many organisations—like NZTA—manage long-term projects that go beyond party lines. Politics can sometimes disrupt progress, and the next Harbour Crossing is a big decision that will affect all Aucklanders.

We’d love your thoughts: Should near-complete, shovel-ready designs be shared with the public, or should the community have a hand in shaping the designs from the start?

Carpet inspection needed

Karen from Saint Johns

Hi
I've just had new carpet laid throughout my house. I'm not happy with the result, as pieces don't match where they should, and in a hallway there are 5 joins where should not have been more than two. The supplier says there's nothing wrong. I would like a professional carpet person to look at it for an independent assessment. Does anyone know of someone who could do this?
