Glen Innes stars in Heritage Festival
Pop along to the Glen Innes Library this Friday (2 October) 11am - noon to hear these local stories.
Event details
Megan Hutching is a freelance historian who specialises in oral history. Using interviews recorded with Glen Innes residents in 1990 she tells their stories, focusing on the area as a place of change after the Second World War when housing, shops, schools, and public transport were developed.
She reveals the mid-twentieth century history of the area and compares past changes with new developments in the area.
