Demystifying Detox - Free Webinar Series

Sharon from Healthy Living with Dr Sharon

Detoxification is a natural process and our body can do the job well without any intervention - for most healthy people. Many of us choose to undergo 3-5 day 'detox cleanses' which could have unfortunate outcomes. Why? Those with underlying medical conditions such as type 2 diabetes and pre-diabetes shouldn't do a juice cleanse at all. And even for healthy individuals, to be done safely, a 'detox cleanse' is the last step of a 3-step process which includes ongoing reduction or elimination of exposure to toxins and active support of the body's detox processes. To find out more, join Dina Ceniza (The Breathe Centre) and I as we dispel the myths of detox and show you the healthy ways of supporting your body.

This is a free 2-part webinar series but you must register for access. There will also be a recording available for a small cost for those you can't make the day.

Sat June 19th @ 11:30 - 1pm (NZT) and
Sun Jun 20th @ 11:30 - 1pm (NZT)

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
