CLOSED ROAD
Seems many people still believe they have the right during this lockdown to go down Elstree Ave, to Taniwha St, you people doing that are breaking the law. Even us residents dont go that way, we go round. Amazing that no one has had an accident. This morning I saw a van with writing on it go down the wrong way, so I jumped on line and found they have a facebook page, so sent a message, got an automatic reply back that someone would be in touch, not that they need to be, but enough to say that they were seen, and its not good enough. Not a good look for that company, to be seen breaking the law.

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
