Dry grass on One Tree Hill
Hi neighbours,
What do you think about the dry and rampant grass on One Tree Hill? A massive fire risk waiting to happen?
I have concerns with the lack of preventative measures taken to minimise the fire hazard, particularly with the very dry summer we have had. The removal of grazing livestock has also compounded the issue.
I'm keen to hear your thoughts!

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
