On Tuesday July 22 2025, the Mt Wellington Licensing Trust announced they had passed a resolution to convert to a Community Trust.

www.mwlt.org.nz...

Given that the Trustees have had no public meeting in 10 months, choosing to conduct non-notified public excluded meetings, have not advised the finanical position of the licensing trust since selling all the community's assets, provided no investment policy, and have taken 1 year just to provide previous meeting minutes, this is the ONLY OPPORTUNITY for this community to have a public meeting where the conversion resolution can be discussed and voted on by the community.

To have this public meeting a minimum of 50 electors within the Mount Wellington Liceinsing Trust area must email the Trust Board for a meeting email: info@mwlt.org.nz

In your email you must state your name and that you are a registered elector. You are requesting a public meeting to be held under Section 353 of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 regarding the Community Trust conversion resolution.
You must include your address to confirm you are an eligible to vote within the Mt Wellington Licensing Trust area - see map

The Licensing Trust assets and funds are owned by the Panmure and Mt Wellington community The trustees are elected to manage the trust on behalf of this community. So take this opportunity to have your say
