Know Your Rights as an Employee on a Visa
If your employment ends you must inform Immigration NZ:
๐๐ผ If you are on an Accredited Employer Visa and your employment has ended for any reason, you must inform Immigration New Zealand.
๐๐ผ If you want to remain in New Zealand and you are eligible for a new visa, Immigration New Zealand will issue you with a temporary visa, while your new work visa is being processed.

Applying for a variation to your visa or a new work visa:
๐๐ผ If you have a work visa that is specific to your job, it will show the name of your employer and the details and location of your work. If any of these details change, you need to apply for a variation to your work visa or for a new work visa.
If you have an Accredited Employer Work Visa:
๐๐ผ If you have an Accredited Employer Work Visa, you can leave your job to work for another accredited employer. You can apply to Immigration NZ for a job change, or apply for a new work visa.

Night-time roadworks on SH16
From 23 November to 17 December, stop/go traffic management will be in several locations on SH16 between Mabbett Lane and Restall Road (Sundays to Thursdays, 9pm to 5am).
Works will include chipsealing and stormwater improvements. There may be delays to your journey when travelling through the area. Click to find out more.
NZCCM Massage and English Programmes
The New Zealand College of Chinese Medicine (NZCCM) offers industry-focused Massage and English programmes that prepare students for professional practice.

As Aucklandโs only provider of Massage diplomas, NZCCM is enrolling now for February 2026 Programmes include the Level 5 Wellness and Relaxation Massage Diploma and the Level 6 Remedial Massage Diploma, both NZQA-approved with intensive block courses. NZCCM also offers NZCEL Level 4 for academic English preparation.
